Pokies maker says rival had access to secret maths codes for slot machine
Poker machine giant Aristocrat claims its arch rival Ainsworth and a former employee had access to the secret mathematical codes behind its most popular machine and "flagrantly" breached copyright when it made an imitation.

In a statement of claim filed in the Federal Court on Thursday, the $18 billion slot maker said Ainsworth copied the codes that determine every spin and win in its Lightning Link and Dragon Link machines, which constituted a copyright infringement of its "Literary Works".
